This **** is turning into a real headache.
Last year I began rebuilding the front end of my Camaro. I mistakenly purchased heavy duty coils for the front and the car came out looking like it had no motor. I had the spring cut down and then it set lower to the right side, just enough to notice, and I also had ground clearance problems. This summer I decided to stick the regular duty springs on and the bastard came out jacked up in the front again. I've been having a mechanic do the work for me since I don't have the space, equipment, and expertise to do it myself, needless to say it's getting expensive. All I want is for my Camaro to sit level, I'm contemplating having the springs cut again but I'm concerned that if they settle out after being cut it will lead to ground clearance problems again. Any advice I the best route to take will be greatly appreciated, I'm on the verge of selling the son of a ***** and getting an old MOPAR.
My Car: 78 Z28, 350 CID. If you want I can post a picture for you to see how it's raised up in the front.

go to a shop that does nothing but springs and let them order the right springs.i got a bbc in my camaro so i took it superior spring(local shop).they found a spring out of a bb trans am that would fit my camaro.
Springs can be a real pain in the rear...I'm fighting the same battle with mine now..
There is more to is than just ride heigth. The springs rate effects how hard or how easy it compresses...
since you've already cut them once, then the only loss you would have is the labor to have it done again. So cut the springs and see if it gives you what you want.....just will cost you some more money...
For the best results get ahold of the experts and get a recommendation on what spring to use.Search the web there are plenty of folks out there that can help you with a spring.
You could start with a new stock spring and see what that does,if the front is too low still with the stock springs, then throw in a set of coil over shocks,
I think I saw 40 front spring listings for the 2nd gen in the classic industries catalog for the camaro..who know how may combos there are if you consider the ta and firebirds....

Wanted to thank you all for your responses. While it seems that taking it to a specialty shop is the best bet I just don't have the time or the money for it. I'm just going to stick the heavy duty springs back in and see if that will be enought to satisfy me. If not, I saw a pretty mean WS6 for sale today andI might just be making a swap pretty soon.
