Exclamation **Please Help! 1979 Camaro RS. Is this a Good buy?!?**

hey guys im lookin' for a 2nd gen camaro. i have found a 1979 rally sport camaro located not to far from my area. It has a 305 v8 automatic. asking 5000 Canadian.

i have a couple questions, this guy hasn't answered my email so i thought i better ask you guys.
first off, do 79 camaro rally sports have power steering and brakes?
second, I understand that they are gas guzzlers but what do you assume a rally sport like this would get? my guess is 15 city 17 highway, but how does yours do?
third, do you think it has the ability to be a daily driver?
4th, does 5 grand seem a fair price?
and last what should i look for when going to see it. like common rust spots etc.

here is a link ---> http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1140457295.html

Thank you
P.S and by the way please dont go snarf this car as i am seriously considering buying it

yes,depends on how you drive and yes 15mpg is close to what it might get,they are very good daily drivers,no 5 grand does not sound like a good price,offer 3500 do not buy for 5 grand can find a better one for that mutch.rear quaters,floor boards,trunk,and by back window. good luck

$5,000 Canadian is $4,216 American. It looks like the car is in very nice condition, but I would still hit him with a lower offer. Doesn't look like too bad a deal as it is.
