Default Front tire size on 67

I have a stock 67 camaro with 17" Ridler rims and was wondering if a 215/50r17 (25.5" diameter, 8.9" wide) tire would fit up front? I do have power disc brakes instead of drums mind you. Thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure they'll have some issues, regardless of offset. Either rubbing outside on fender lip, or if the BS is deep, they'll rub on the frame when turning. Just took off the same size wheels on my buddy's '68 Camaro, except they were 8" wide. Couldn't turn it hardly at all, and hitting bumps rubbed the fenders. His are American Torq Thrust, but I doubt that matters. He's going back to a 7"x15" wheel and a 215-50-15 tire. He has 10"x16" wheels in the rear, but it's tubbed and narrowed 12 bolt, so no problems in back.

I have a 69 Camaro and have researched what will fit the 69. not sure if 67-68 are different but.. I was told with a 17x8 wheel in front with 4 3/4 BS you can fit a 245-45-17 and on the rear with a 17x9.5 wheel with 5.5 to 5 3/4 BS can fit a 275-40-17.. again this is a 69 Camaro and I believe they have slightly larger quarter panel and fender gaps for larger tires.. best to call a tire shop that can get in touch with someone that knows for sure.. that's what I did..

I just put on 17"x9" with 5" backspacing 275/40r17 BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2s on the rear.
And a 17"x8" with 4.5" backspacing 245/40r17 BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2s on the front.

I have a 67 Camaro with a BRP Hotrod rear shock relocator. Its fits right on the inside of the fender.
