17" vintiques ralley wheels on a 68

I want to put 17" vintiques ralley wheels on my 68 ss convertible but i am not sure which backspacing i can get on without problems. I need help so i can order the correct wheels and not run into problems with none fitting wheels. also need tires sizes. I am getting tubular suspension installed soon with viking coilovers.

I want to use maybe 7" tires on the front and 8" on the back or larger if i can get them to fit in the wheel wells.

So any ideas on how i can do this !!!!!!!

I just put on 17"x9" with 5" backspacing 275/40r17 BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2s on the rear.
And a 17"x8" with 4.5" backspacing 245/40r17 BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2s on the rear.

I have a 67 Camaro with a BRP Hotrod rear shock relocator. Its fits right on the inside of the fender.
