shifter question

Smile shifter question

I have a 4 speed hurst shifter in my 68 i plan on adding a floor console in a few weeks. will i have to change the length of my shifter handle to clear the floor console???.

I had a 1969 with Hurst Competition Plus shifter with just a boot and then added the 69 console with the gauges. Had no problem at all. You have to spend some time moving the console around so you can optimize the various clearances for the various gear positions.

Thanks guys i will post pics when i finish the installation. I didnt use stock gauges i choose to use autometer colbolt C2, with blue L E D lighting to match my C2 tach. They are full sweep and i think functionally they are much better gauges and easier to read.
