do you have a 5 or 6 speed. all the short shifters i have seen are for the t56, i would be suspicious but for that price it may be worth a try. but then again it would be better pay the extra to get b&m, if the other is fail.

Same part number, Sure seems cheap.

I know nothing about the above site. I googled the part number since the link did not say if it was for 5 or 6 speed. The above link says it fits a Firehawk,,, that is a 6 speed

Ok I get it now, these are all China made shifters. If you going to buy China made stuff pay China prices.

ok now in no way is this considered a short throw but... i felt the same way about the shifter in my 3.4 it was so long, so i took a sawzall to it and cut off about 1.25 inches got a new **** (it was a universal one from walmart worked perfect) it made a huge difference. chaotic94 did it too im pretty sure he has pics.

Short sticks are available and are a great improvement for cheap. Throws themselves are shorter, the feel does get a bitc notchier however. WS6store sells them for the t56 for around $20

I own an N.H.R.A. Edition Formula. That package comes with the Hurst short throw. It shifts smoother than other brands I've tried in other camaro set ups from my exp. Hope this helps alittle.

Just a FYI lets not confuse short throw shifters with short shifters. They are two different things. Most short throw shifter are near stock length. The short throw comes from where the pivot point is in relation to shift socket.

My T5 V6 has a Hurst short throw shifter, it is just as tall as the stock shifter. Because of the design I can easly hack off 2-1/2 inchs then it would be a short throw with short shifter handle.

Stock heigh short throw Hurst shifter, (Mad paint brush skillz!!)
