How do you install/adjust the kickdown cableon a 1969 camaro 350 at the carb end. I have all the hardware installed but not sure where the slide is supposed to be in relation to the stud. I know you hold the throttle wide open and push the cable through the bracket but im stuck there. Does the slide and stud make contact all the time or only at WOT?

 

I adjust the kickdown cable to be pulled all the way out at WOT. You can open the throttle on the carb all the way by hand and see if there is any slack in the kickdown cable. If there is, adjust accordingly.
