FUEL TANK ANT-SQUEAK KITS
Am working on a 1967 Camaro.
I purchased an anti-squeak kit from a company located in California. They were supposed to be OEM by GM reporductions. The stips that are to rap around the tank's mounting straps are too narrow. The company's techs told me they are having problems with this. Anybody else experience the same thing I did. If so, what did you use for anti-squeak material? Did you go ahead and use these strips anyway?
Also in the kit was a rectangular piece of form about 3" x 5". Just exactly where does this go? Again the tech guy said between the tank and the trunk floor. His answer was of no help. But where specifically?
One more question. Where is a quality place to purchase stainless steel gas line for a 1967 camaro? And how are the prices?
