BODY MOUNT RUBBER - replace or don't bother
I've been meaning to ask this for some time. I was under my 67 and noticed that the body mount rubber has definitely seen better days.
1 - How easy is it to replace each of the rubber mounts?
2 - Will I feel the difference? (is it worth the effort)
I recently replaced the A arms with tubular ones, new bushings, front springs, leaf spring bushings and have Bilstine shocks all around. She rides good but have always been curious if it would make any difference and should I put that on the to do list. As far as how I use the car, well, I put maybe 1,000 per year (if that), it is a cruising vehicle, not a race machine, not a track car, not meant to carve up the canyons, I just don't like rattles or a stiff hard ride. Any thoughts? as always thank you for your comments and advise.
