Default 69 Turn Signal Issue

The turn signals on my 69 Camaro don't work, but the flashers do. I replace the turn signal switch this weekend, and still nothing. I've have power in and out of the steering column. Any idea what might be the problem?

You have two flasher relays. The one on the fuse panel is for the 4-way emergency flashers. The relay for the turn signals is under the dash, connected to a pigtail off the harness. Look under and up, near the radio area.

Default Turn signal issue as well but on a 68

The left/right turn signals work, brake lights work but when you have the left turn signal on and hit the brakes, both front and rear signal stop blinking. Ground issue?

I had to join this forum, just to say THANK YOU!!! This post saved my life. LOL I have been trying to solve the issue of <<turn signals engage, but don't blink>> for a long time. They have been slowing down for quite some time. I replaced the flasher relay in the fuse panel with an electronic flasher, and no luck. Unrelated, I upgraded to LED for more visibility. I cleaned the terminals. I checked misc wires. I added resistors. I replaced the relay, again. Flashers work, turn signals don't. Then I went to the internet, and found it was a common problem. It led me to believe it was a bad ground somewhere. [insert angry face] I even looked up buying a new harness. Then I came across your post. I found the second flasher for the turn signals! BAM!!!! Electronic flasher installed. You have made my day! Thank you

Hey you're welcome, glad to hear this was a help to you. Feel free to stick around.
Ironically, in 10 years we never heard back from the o.p.
