Where to start?
My question is do I start with restoring body and interior and then do drive train or other way around?
I just got a 68 327 that has never had anything done to it except brakes and other routine maint.
Body shows 30 years on paint but isn't rusted. (garaged entire time)
Car has about 41K on it.
I haven't done any car work in 25 years and when I did it was with someone else who told me what to do (dad and dad's friend).
car won't be sold, its going to be driven lightly when finished. My goal is restoration.

I started with tearing her apart, then paint blasted off to see what was really there, had a guy do the body restoration and paint, I cleaned up the subframe, built half the motor, finished the bottom, and now we are working on the wiring and the interior. Here's my project thread.......got lots of pics posted up.

Are you going to seperate the frame from the body? You'll have to pull the motor to do that. If you swing the new motor in over the fresh paint, you can damage the paint. Are you going to drive it while you work on it? All things you must consider.
