I bought it guys, If anything goes wrong I will be blaming ALL of you! Paid more than I wanted to pay for it, but I realize these cars are not that easy to come by. Picking it up next weekend.

Big mistake, You will regret it,,,, Tell you what, I'll give you what you paid for it just to help you out. Where in NJ can I pick it up? This weekend OK? I have Suburban with Dolly and check book ready to go.

All joking aside I think those seats where recovers. Mine has 14K on the clock and garage kept most of its life my seats look like crap next to yours. Sweet deal, No way you can go wrong. Once it is done you will be amazed at the reactions that car will get you.

Sits are indeed recovers, they are "new" as well as the carpet and dashboard pad. You should see the way this guy had the interior of that car, all kinds of boxes with parts and whatnot on the seats and the trunk. He just did not care anymore. Top is newer, I believe it was replaced about 2 years ago and it is in excellent shape. I was kind of hoping the interior would be in bad shape so I could replace the top and the interior with white, thinking it would look beautiful when we paint the car with the original Tahoe Turquoise, but it would be a shame to throw that stuff out.
Other than that it is not bad (aside from the fact that it needs a total restoration)
The idea is to make it a family proyect and let the kids be a part of it. Without getting ridiculous we plan to spend enough money to make it right and keep it for years to come.
Thanks for the reply.

Absolutely, and thank you in advance. It will be my second proyect (first one was a 1947 CJ-2 A) but as I said I want to do it as corect as posible, so I will be needing as much advice and help as I can get including pictures. This weekend I will go to Barns and Noble to pick up a couple of books on the subject at hand.
Thank you for your offer, e-mail for pics is aperjo@gmail.com
