Over There is a very general term. Where exactly is over there? If it is Illinois, then most of them in original condition are rust buckets, if it is Arizona then they should be fine except the Interior is probably baked out of them. Plus, what are your expectations for a driver? Do you want to be able to get in it and go anywhere? What you should really do is start looking at the local Craigslist for wherever your over there is to see what is out there. AND you have to reallize that the earlier models are going to cost more than the later ones, with the middle Big Bumper cars being less poplular should cost less.

Really though I would say that to get a decent looking driver that will be semi reliable it would probably cost better than $5000.

And welcome to Camaro Forums.

Around most areas there's a big difference between a '70-'73 @nd gen, and a '74-'81 2nd gen. We have lots of pretty clean, rust free '74-'81 Camaros listed on the local Craigslist for around $3500 or less, but the same thing in an early 2nd gen Camaro will run 3-4 times that.

Here's a couple on around here now:
1975 Camaro LT Vinyl Top

'76 Firebird Formula 400
1976 firebird formula

1977 Chevy Camaro

78camaro

1978 Z28 Yellow Camaro

CAMARO - 4Spd.

1978 chevrolet camaro

1979 Camaro 99k ORIGINAL miles

1979 black camaro 350 th350

They're more common than fleas on dogs here! Lots more, but I got tired of typing.

They're cheap, but maybe you thought they were giving them away with every airline ticket?
