As someone said above; this is just another guy who bought the car to restore a few years back and never got around it. Now he wants it out of site. Wether the car is a real rs or not I guess the tag will tell. As far as an honest buyer or seller... I think we all want to make a buck, and as far as buying a car to restore even though I've never done it I can see how a grand or two can make a difference. People may think 10 grand will get you a long way but I beg to differ. To me is like going grocery shopping, most everything you buy is a dollar or two but when you walk up to the register it adds up to hundreds of dollars. So to me buying the base as cheap as I can is key and Even though I have some knowlege on muscle cars, I know nothing about prices. I really apreciate your help and I will keep U posted.

I know what you mean. When I bought mine it looked like it was in awesome condition. Not alot of rust at all. Paint job was actually really nice and it didnt seem like there was alot of bondo on the body. And from the stories I got as to where it had been sitting and the previous owner who had had it before this one told me that not alot had been done to it. So I jumped on it. Spent 8k on it and untill I pulled her apart and got into it did I realize that I was in for alot of work. All we found was rusted out spots and nothing but a body full of bondo once the paint was off. And to think........the friend who convinced me to restore one told me I wasnt going to have more than 18-20k to do the job. Last tally I have 30k spent. Live and learn.

Ummmmm....I sure hope you bought it right then and there! You said it was a coupe, it's a friggin rag top!!! It also looks to be pretty solid and straight, you could have bought that car with your eyes closed.
If you're not going to buy it, let me know. Where did you say the car was located again?

I can not see the pictures, why is it not posting them? Anyway, that is what I was told, coupe, but it did turn out to be a CONVERTIBLE. All matching numbers 327 c.i. , power glide-10 bolt. Original RS option with deluxe interior (black) which is VERY, VERY GOOD, power steering, power brakes (drums) power windows and center console in awesome condition. No tach, no A/C, no FM radio. All factory 100% correct according to plate info. Tahoe Turquoise metallic original color/black deluxe interior
Outside crome molding stinks, but the interior is very nice. 87K miles on the speedo (God only knows if they are real, but the tile says 77K when it was last registered 9 years ago). Door skins need to be replaced as well as the 1/4 panels because the amount of bondo is way more than I would like. Frame and rest of the body including inner fender wells are in great shape. No rust holes or visible cancer. Other than that trunk pan is as new, floor pans were replaced and are 100%. New top, and all original parts are there in cardboard boxes or in the car. I am supposed to call him monday and make him an offer, but he did some research and may want more than what he said at first.
I will try to post more pictures. Please advice!!!
THANK YOU
