People who grew up on nothing but fuel injected cars may not have a clue about the need to pump the gas pedal a couple of times to get a carbureted engine to start. It goes with the territory.

you should just get yourself a new car and be done with it. you'll be happier in the end. if you are worried about these things then don't buy the car for a daily driver.

No kidding lol! Not to mention pumping the breaks lol!! (aka anti-lock brakesl)

So.... We drove the Camaro to church Sunday evening and my 13 year old son asks if he can drive it on the dirt road... (I usually let him drive our 02 Malibu on the dirt road about 2 miles). I just told him, "You don't know how to drive this" and he replies, "I can drive it".

The boy doesn't have a clue lol! Hey, at least he knows to unhook the battery when we park it lol!
