Default Turbo 350 Kickdown Cable Setting

Just finished rebuilding and installing my transmission, turbo 350, and I need to set the kickdown cable. I marked it before I removed it but its not working when I mash the accelerator. The transmission shifts fine through all three gears, just doesn't downshift when I floorboard the accelerator. Thanks!!

Default RE: Turbo 350 Kickdown Cable Setting

you need to open your throttle at least until the secondaries open, then at that point your kickdown cable should be adjusted so it is open. retighten your kickdown and all should be good.

you should have a good amount of slack in the cable when just normal driving
