Default Sending unit questions

Hi I am new here to the forums and I have a question about sending units. I purchased a used 69 nova tank to put under the bed of my c10 ( I know, this is a camaro forum) the nova tank came with a sending unit but no lock ring to secure it. All I see online is lock rings for camaro sending units. My question is would a camaro sending unit lock ring fit on a nova tank and sender. Any help is greatly appreciated.

67-69 Camaro and 68-72 Nova use the same sending unit and components. And the same lock ring fits a lot more than just Camaro and Nova: https://www.npdlink.com/store/catalo...ts-1320-1.html

Hopefully, you have the O-ring with it.
Before install, lube the O-ring with petroleum jelly (Vaseline - brand name) as this will make install and removal a breeze later in life.
A screwdriver by itself makes for a nice tool to tighten the locking ring.

To each their own, whatever tool gets the job done without marring the surface/corrosion preventative if applied.
