More than kinda, it's a lot high to me. I don't know which one is "higher", the price, or the dealer!

What would be a good price for this? I was thinking 28-30K (assuming the car is nice in person).

Dealer emailed me back and said engine is original (obviously bored out). He was going to verify today on the engine, trannie, and rear end.

$28K is still high IMO. I would imagine if they have it listed for $34,500 they are expecting to get no less than $30k for it.

But you know what they say, its worth whatever someones willing to pay for it. If its Super Nice and you love it, make them an offer you can live with.

Man....$28K is high? For a potential numbers matching SS/RS? Wow, I'm out of touch...here I was thinking I was gonna try and lowball him at $28K. Sure am glad I posted here first.

Scooch...give me your honest opinion...let's assume it's a numbers matching vehicle....what is a fair price in your estimation?

whoa now.... The Scooch is alot of things but Im no expert. Thats just my opinion. I dont get bent all outta whack over matching numbers but I am willing to allow for it. I was just going by the appearance of the car, thinking if its nice, $25k or $26k tops. If you wanna allow them a couple grand for numbers matching then maybe your at the number you had in mind.

First find out about the block, if it's #'s matching. A 406 is a popular c.i. achieved from an .030 bore on a 400 block, although you can get there using a 350 block. If it's not the original block, you just lost the heritage of the SS, as well as any way of proving the car is/was an SS, unless they have original paperwork.
This one is in my neck of the woods: 1967 CAMARO RS #MATCH-CLEAN - $20500 (CHICAGO)

Well, the one I posted isn't an SS, but the one he's looking at might not be one any longer either.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 1967 COWL info accounted for the SS unlike the 68's and 69's. I decoded the COWL info he sent and it came back as a L48 SS 350 with the Rally Sport Package.

I appreciate the link and lookin' out and all but I'm not looking for a 327. I already have a 68 Convertible with a 327 with all matching numbers. I'm looking for 67 SS/RS 350.
