the car im working on has a mechanical console oil presure gauge. I also have a red wire that comes out of the harness on right side of the engine, I asume is for an oil presure switch, that is on the other side of engine.my question is if I have the mechanical gauge do I do away with this wire? and is the original oil pressure line metal or plastic tube?
