I have the fuel gauge in the gauge pod on the console. The gauge reads about a quarter inch past the "F" mark when full and about a quarter inch past the "E" mark when empty.

When the gauge reads "E", I actually have about 5 gallons of gas left.

I replaced the float sending unit in the tank but I still have the same problem.

Does anyone know how the make this gauge read more accurately or do I have to live with it?
