new member. got a few questions

Default new member. got a few questions

First off i just want to say hello to all the members. i have wanted a 67 camaro ss for a long time now. i plan on getting a car that pretty much just runs or something that just needs a little work matching engine and tranny serial numbers. it gonna be a project car and one day i hope to give it to my son for his first car. i want it to look stock but with all the luxuries of today. power windows, ac, cd player. how much does it normally to restore one of these cars? please help

Hello and welcome. Ive got 30k in mine....it cost 8 for the car initially. We did a total outer body shell replacement, replaced pretty much all of the trunk, roof and frame. Labor and paint job cost me about 9000. So that would be roughly 13k in parts, body pieces, motor, and misc. I have about 1000 to go. I havent bought any top of the line parts. Its just your average DD when its done. Goodluck with finding a numbers matching car that will be a good project. To get one cheap you will find it prob has alot of rust on it. If not then you will pay alot more for one. Either way you are looking about around 30k to do one.
