Hi, new to the forum. Just bought a 69 camaro and wanted brighter tail lights. Will LEDs work? Will they be brighter? Do I need a new flasher? Or are they plug and play? Thanks in advance.

I ordered two LED 1157 type bulbs from superbrights.com and they worked out great. I bot the brightest ones they had. I was told by them to always match the LED color to the lens color. I put in red ones and the work great at a cost of about $25 each. They are brighter than stock. I tried white ones of the same type but they did not seem nearly as bright as the stock bulbs. You can select your car and their site will show you all the led replacement bulbs for your car. And yes, you will need an electronic flasher. The only incandescent bulbs in my car interior or exterior are now LED,s. I get lots of positive comments.
