I recently replaced one of the burned out tail lights. Then all of a sudden the interior dashboard lights, lighting on my shifter and brake lights do not light up unless I brake.

Explanations anyone?

 

Check all the fuses and make sure that you did not damage the wires (skin the insulation and grounded to body of vehicle) when putting the light assembly back in the car. I had a similiar thing happen with another vehicle and it was a blown fuse that provide a path in the light circuit.

 

make sure you are using the correct bulbs.
