took the ujoints off both ends of drive shaft for got to mark front nd back does it matter

 

Are you saying that you forgot to mark the front and back of the drive shaft? If the U joints are both the same size it shouldn't make any difference. If the front and back joints are different, then it is only going to fit one way.
