Default Headers For 69 Firebird With Camaro SBC

Hey all,
I own a 69 firebird with a 383 SBC and i want to upgrade to hooker headers and i was wondering what header should i get as its a chevy engine with a pontiac body.
I know that 69 camaro and firebird should be almost the same as its the same f body and headers for 69 camaro should fit directly but i sent an email to hooker and they say there is no documentation that those headers fit firebird which is very weird.

anyone have experience with that mod?

Thanks!

Back in 69 Firebirds camed with Pontiac engines. That is probably why Hooker has no info for a SBC into a Firebird. However, being that the SBC is physically smaller than the Pontiac engine, the headers "should" fit.

Pete wasn't making a joke. What he is saying is that the old Pontiac 350 is physically larger than a Chevy 350, almost the size of a big block. Back then, the engines were brand specific.
Whereas, the 350 in the 3rd and 4th gen Camaros and Firebirds are "corporate engines" meaning it's the same engine in both.
So yes, Camaro headers should be your best shot at making it work.
