Default 98 Camaro/Firebird 3.8 V-6 I really need help with this?

I have looked through various repair manuals, CD's, DVD's you name it, and I keep coming up with two different wiring configurations for the same year Camaro, with the same engine, for the same circuit, and same component. The wiring configuration is for my iac valve for a 98 Camaro with a 3.8 V-6 engine vin (K). I keep finding these two wiring configurations and I need to know which one is the correct one:
1st configuration:
Letter (A) on iac wire connector to C2 Pin 49 Lt Green/Black wire.
Letter (B) on iac wire connector to C1 Pin 38 Lt Green/White wire.
Letter (C) on iac wire connector to C2 Pin 44 Lt Blue/Black wire.
Letter (D) on iac wire connector to C2 Pin 7 Lt Blue/White wire.
2nd configuration:
Letter (A) on iac wire connector to C1 Pin 12 Lt Green/White wire.
Letter (B) on iac wire connector to C1 Pin 10 Lt Green/Black wire.
Letter (C) on iac wire connector to C1 Pin 9 Lt Blue/White wire.
Letter (D) on iac wire connector to C1 Pin 11 Lt Blue/Black wire.
I'm working on a drivetrain conversion and have been experiencing a lot of electrical problems with my iac valve getting hot. The iac valve gets hotter, much faster than the intake manifold that it is mounted on. I really need someone with a 98 Camaro 3.8 V-6 to take a good look at their iac valve wiring configuration and tell me which configuration their iac circuit is configured to? It has to be a 98 Camaro/Firebird, no other year! You may email me if you like at: Chevy66@hawaii.rr.com Thank you very much for your support, Tommy.[/align]
