Well, its a base model running a 350/350 combo.Fully restored, panel, paint and new interior. Was a column shift but it is getting a console and floor shift fitted to it before I pick it up.
Not my favourite color but it is satin black with gloss black stripes black interior and black rims with chrome rings and caps.
The price that you pay for a 67-69 over here is astronomical so when I was told the price on this one I couldn't say no.
I will post some pics when I get it home in a week or so.

Looking forward to pictures, sometimes as a buyer when you havent seen a car up close and personal ,your mind takes over and you believe its something thats its not. I hope you are pleased with the real thing. What country are you currently residing in? For enough $$$ maybe I will send my 69 RS/SS over there if it gets bad! ed

Ed,I'm in New Zealand.I have seen the car.It is in the guys workshop getting a few final touches done to it and a final check over before it goes to compliance.
When a car is imported over here it has to go through an extensive check before it can be registered and put on the road. They are very thorough especialy when it comes to body work.

Interesting how countries differ about things like that. Some of our states have pretty intense safety & emissions inspection laws, while other states
have no inspection laws what so ever. Do they look at body work as a safety thing or just a uniformaty thing? ed

Safety...or so they say. They can be very pedantic.Rust it a big issue. Also if they can see where a repair has been made, often a "repair cert" is required where another specialist person is called in to inspect the area concerned and that usually has
to be taken back to bare metal, inspected then repainted. It can be very expensive and a lot of people have been caught out.

That is interesting that your country looks so very hard at body work
issues. On the flip side,do the body shop employees need certifications &
licenses and testing to be able to do body work? A far cry different where sometimes kids in an alley in a major city are repairing cars and then
pushing them into body shops to be painted ! ed

Pretty much anybody can carry out the repairs but they have to be inspected and signed off by a person qualified to do so before any paint/sealer etc is applied.
