changed my front springs today in my 68 camaro and it sits 3 in above the front wheel
ordered springs for a 69 because mine has disc so i know that did not come with disc
brakes but the 69 did.
what went wrong
are the springs to big

Looking atthe application guide at Classic Industries, the 68 and 69 usedifferent springs in some instances, and some are the same, depending on the options. That's a big difference you have though, are you sure they didn't send you big block springs?

 

fixed the 68 camaro today, took the new springs and cut a 1/2 coil instead of 1 coil and the carhas a good stance, nowthe tiresabout 1 3/4to 2 in from the front fender.
also replaced upper control arm bushings and the toe is correct, very happy
