Hi guys i just bought a 68 camaro 396 4spd convertible car.
My question is that the guy had 205/75/15 wheels on it and the front tires rubbed. I change the front tires to 195/60/15 and they have plenty of clearance. i drove the car the other day and i scrapped the front spoiler and cracked it on a dip in the street. I know that when i changed the tires it made it an 1 1/2 lower in the front. The question i have is that i think the car has sb springs in it because it was a 350 ci and an auto before the guy transplanted the 396 and 4spd in it. i need to know what size or weight rated springs i need to bring this car back up to normal height.
The distance from the center of the wheel well opening to the ground is 25 inches. What should it be and what springs do i need to order?
