Getting close to getting this 67 SS/RS back together. Today went to put the front fender braces on (diagonal ones) and they are about 3 inches to short. They were suppose to fit 1967-69 Camaro and Firebird. They look correct except for the length. Are they just plain wrong or am I missing something. No way can move the radiator support back , as then the front fenders won't bolt to it . My mounting holes for it are about 19 inches C/C

Looks like all my headlight wires and plugs are there except for the ground wires and that is an easy fix.

 

I have 19.5" center of bolt head to center bolt head
total length is 20 5/8"

 

Thank You, about the distance I have, so the braces I have are wrong. Wonder what they actually fit. Or did somewhere along the way GM made a change. They look correct as to ends , just to short
