Default Fender question

I feel a little stupid for asking this since I did know, but I seriously can't remember. But...can a fender from a base model Camaro (or any 3rd gen) fit my Camaro Z/28(right front fender) Mostly talking about the ground effects/skirts. And is this the same for the Trans-Ams/Firebirds??

Camaro fenders should fit, however firebird/transam fenders will not, they are a few inches longer than camaro fenders due to the big nose.

Thank you. But what about the Camaro fenders? I know that they will fit, but I thought that there were special inserts in only the Z/28 and IROC fenders near the bottom to put on the side skirts/ground effects. So will I have to put on a Z/28 fender only? Or could I use one from a base model, seeing I'll just take off the skirts off of mine.
