Convertible Windshield Trim

Convertible Windshield Trim
Anyone have any information (preferably pictures) of how to remove the windshield trim on a first gen Camaro convertible. (1967). Mine is fairly rusty and I've been in the process of replacing things on the car and this is one part that is an eye sore due to the rust and location, but I'm afraid to just start trying to pull the trim off and break something. Thanks!

Are you talking about the large chrome area right next to the windshield molding? I have not hade mine off but it looks like it is just screwed in.
On a side note you may be very surprised on how much of your original chrome is still there. The rust will grow out of small pin holes and cover the chrome like a vine. There are some amazing videos on you tube of people bringing back rusty Cragers that have in junk yards for decades. May be worth a try. The chrome will have little specs but the high end cleaners will seal and the rust for up to a year.
I should also add I just did my car in the same area and it turned out the that top and been dropping a little rust on the chrome and it cleaned up 100% it even amazed my wife. Since the rust was on top of the chrome it came out like factory. The rust was from the screws that help the top, A quick rust converter and some sealer should take care of that until its time for a new top.
