what color is the car going to be and are you putting a rear spoiler on her cant wait to see her done maybe for spring

 

Im really not sure about the paint at this point. since the roof has to be repainted we had talked about painting the top half of the car black and leaving bottom half of the car gold, kinda like this...



and Im just gonna leave the factory spoiler on the trunk. I dont see anything being finished by spring. the deeper I get into it, the more little stuff I find and its slowing my progress to a crawl. My hope was to be driving it by October.

I'm really liking the black and gold idea the more I think about it. But you might have to do some pin striping or something on the hood or it's just going to get lost painted all black.

 

how bout something like this.... but with Gold to match the bottom of the car?

thanks guys, we will see. Paint is a long way from now. and I just noticed that stripe runs off the back of the hood. Ive seen other that taper to a sharp point before reaching the back of the hood, that looks alot better. like this...

 

Yeah, the point looks better. I wonder if on that 69, maybe the stripe continued on to the wiper door?
The door is missing tho.

 

Im afraid it will just be white gel coat for a while.
