Dude, I hate to say it, but I don't like it on that car. Maybe it's the paint, but just doesn't look right to me.

I have no intentions of that paint job, side pipes or the wing on the trunk. no matter, I like it and its bought already. Does this mean you dont wanna drive it if its gonna have that hood on it?

Not saying that at all, I'll stand behind you in whatever you do to it. But I might be wondering why in the bad of my braincase. But it's your car and as long as it makes you happy when you polish it's tail pipes is all that matters. It's just like when people wonder about my car sometimes, it's my G-spot. You'll find you'll G-spot and then no one else will matter but you!

I think the L88 hood will look finen dandy. The center stripe is making the hood lose some depth in the pic and throwing off the effect.
Did you get a lift off or bolt on hood?

Nothing gets past my peepers!
I put a glass cowl hood on my first 69, back in the late 70's. Hinge style, but pinned in front, not latched. Did your hood come with springs? You're gonna have to remove your existing springs and put on lightweight ones. I just went to the hardware store and bought two springs that worked just right. I don't think I've met a glass hood that fit perfectly, and neither did mine. Looked real good, but had highs and lows against the fenders, as you can see on the left side. I miss that car, but it's in heaven now.

Those were aftermarket bullet mirrors. Cal Custom or something of that kind.
