had to get new Valve Covers, the rocker arms were hitting the cheap chrome ones. I think these look better anyway. now I gotta get a new air cleaner, I hate that little thing.

Covers look nice, paint in between the ribs the body color and would look nicer?
And the same corresponding paint scheme to the new air cleaner...

Don't forget to drill a hole in the hood to clear that looooong air cleaner stud, sure would suck to dent the hood. Then you could add a dressy wing nut on top of that.

yea, as soon as I find the are cleaner Im looking for I will be sure to cut that stud off.

Idont know Everett, I kinda like them plain polished. plus, I dont know for sure what color the car is gonna end up being.

Finally ordered my Hood. Got it form Fiber Concepts. The same guy that hand laid hoods for Joel Rosen back in 69 will be making my hood. I wanted to get it from them just because I knew it would be the right hood, having him lay it is a bonus. there are so many L88 look a likes, wrong width or height scoop, either squared off they hang over the cowl. this is the one...
