ok, after alot of trial and error and much consideration... I think I am going to let the Deluxe Door Panels go. they look great but I had no idea that there would be so many differences in the mechanics of the door.

First the Door Lock Bell cranks are in the wrong place so I would have to drill new holes in the top of the doors then try to Fabricate a new rod (or buy a whole new setup).

Second, the Shaft on the Window Regulators is too short. I have come up with a way to try and make it work with aftermarket crank handles but its gonna be another trial and error deal. or buy new regulators and change them out. this includes the rear regulators too. $$$$

Third, the door opening mechanism is "pull", not "lift". so new mechanism and new pull handles are in order. there again more $$$

so, Im gonna order new pre-assembled standard door panels, front and rear... all I will have to do is install them. kinda bummed about it but it is what it is. anybody got deluxe door panels in bad shape that are interested in mine send me a PM.

been busy the last couple days... Finally got the windshield installed. and the Brake Pedal, Brake Booster/Master Cylinder, proportioning valve all hooked up. also got a new Billet Pulley on the Power Steering Pump (sorry forgot to take a pic) and got it installed with the new lines.

the windshield is a big deal for me because it was the first thing I removed back in Nov 2007.

thanks Mshep. I actually bought the windshield 5 years ago, its been wrapped in a wool blanket sittin in my Garage all this time. When I got the car I intended on having it back on the road in 6 months. I dont know if that means its bad luck to buy your windshield too early or what.

I hope to get the brake bled, the drive shaft back in, the shifter hooked back up to the trans and maybe hang the fenders and nose back on her Monday. Pics to follow.
