Default Body Work

Just had the body blasted which removed the lead in the roof quarter panel seam. Do I have to redo the seam with metal filler or is there another method?

On a unibody the seam is structural and sees a lot of twisting stress. If someone makes something other than body solder I would want something in writing that says it will hold up from a well known company. If 3M makes a product or someone like that go for it but a split/crack there under 8K paint job would trigger a VERY expensive redo.

I posted the same question on a body work forum and got several responses for using glass strand filler after fully welding the seem.

Has anyone done this with success over solder?
