Default advise for big block clutch fan

I posted this in the "new guy" area too so if the double post is an issue I'll apologize ahead of time. :-)

I have a 68 camaro with a 509 in it. I want to go back to "stock looking" for the cooling system. I have found a radiator at US radiator, a shroud at ricks camaros but I want a clutch fan and can't find one that will fit right out of the box. I'm looking for some advise on where to get this, a part number, seller, advise of any kind.

Thanks,

Chris

How is it not fitting? To big of radius for the shroud? Or is the clutch hitting the radiator? And welcome fellow 68 owner. That's the best year, don't listen to the 69 ppl they are crazy! Lol.

I have not purchased a fan yet. I'm looking to buy the right one the first time. That's why I asked for a PN or supplier who sells the right one. My usual MO is to buy thew wrong one first and second then about third time I get it right. Thought I'd try to get it right the first time once!

FWIW I also have an original RS/SS 396 Camaro. The 396 is long gone but still a big boy in it!

The factory big blocks and factory ac cars used the of shapes 5 blade fan like this

1967-1968 Camaro Fan Clutch Kit For All With Replacement Clutch

Might have to copy and paste that link since I'm on my phone.

I think the Z/28s used a 7 blade or something but I know the big block vettes used the same fan.

also my 68 isn't a 396 car it's one of te rare oddball phantom ss car but I badges it when I restored it.
