Yes that is because it is in-style in 1990 a 1969 Camaro was worth a small fraction of what 57 chevy sold for. Even the "rare" camaro could not come close to what a nice base model 57 was selling for. Who knows what 2 or 3 years will bring.

I have said it 100 times buy the car if its worth the money to you. Do not buy it based on future value. Personally, I will be glad when they fall out of style. Maybe I can find a decent hardtop roller at a cheap price that I could build into a driver. Way to many of these cars are sitting in garages as status symbols.
