How much is my Camaro worth
Hi, I was just wondering how much I could sell my car for. It is a 1994 Z28 camaro with 92000 miles on the body.It has power locks, windows, mirror, T-tops, cloth int, with the bose stereo system. and it is an automatic.
I just rebuilt the engine, the heads and block have been machined at car quest, and the crank reground. It was bored .30 over. It has a new comp camshaft, with new forged pistons. It has a new timing chain, starter, distributor, plugs and wires, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, and new oil. Trans shifts good.
The problem though is it has a salvage title. It was marked as rebuilt 5 years ago and all damage been repaired. I did hit a deer, and theres a small tear in the quarter panel about an inch long. It also has a new hood still in the black primer on it.
The other problem is it it will turn over, and fire but wont start. I took it to the dealership, and they said it could a few things. They said I put the flywheel on backwards, the timing may be off cause it backfired, and that a few things probably are not grounded. They said it would easily cost 1000 dollars to fix all this for them. Thats outrageous! Maybe not for auto places, but just in general its a hose job! Anyway I can do all that myself probably, but i am tired of working on it for so long, and just wonder if it would be worth it to sell it now, or will I get enough out of it if I get it running to make up for the lost time? How much is it worth now?
