78 Camaro -- what's it worth?
Hi folks.
New to the forum......
I am in the market for a car to play with and to be honest have been looking heavily at old MOPARS......but I have a very soft spot for Camaros of all years.
I may be able to get a hold of a 78 Camaro.....stored for the last 18 years or so, started occasionally to blow the dust off, but pretty much not driven from what I am told.
20k miles when it was stored.
Has a 305 with dual, aftermarket intake manifold and 4 bbl carb, cowl induction hood bump (functional), curve kit (tuning?), automatic tranny, posi rear end (not sure what ratio).....body colored rally rims...car was ordered special, not an off-the-lot car.....has rear spoiler.....car is that deep metallic blue.
Body is very straight and no rust from what I am told....interior is black and could have some mildew from storage....
Honestly, the 305 turns me off a bit......I have known the car for years since I was a kid....thought it was a 350....
Still, because the car holds some memories for me, thought I might go this route if the car goes up for sale.
What do you think its worth from what I have told you? I dont want sentimentality to get in the way...
Thanks for the help!
