Is this a complete engine? If so, you can measure the stroke of the piston. If it's a bare block, it doesn't have a displacement, since the same casting was used for a 302, 327, and 350, all with a 4" bore. The internals (crank, pistons & rods) determine the displacement.

Default block ID

Yes, it is a complete good running engine in the car , then if I pulled a head and checked the bore is about the only way at this point ?
Thanks for the help

It's a 4" bore block, regardless. With the head off, turn the engine over till a piston goes to the very bottom of the bore (pick a piston, any piston). Measure from the top of the piston up to the deck of the block to determine your stroke. 3.48"= a 350. 3.25"= a 327. 3"= a 302. If you don't want to remove the head, you can remove a spark plug, find TDC on one piston, stick a stiff wire (coat hanger, etc) or small dowel rod down till it rests on the piston, and make a reference mark on the rod. Then bring that piston to BDC and make another reference mark. Measure between the marks, and that's your stroke.
