Greetings everyone. My wife's 67 Camaro had the engine replaced with a 283 out of a Impala. One of the things that didnt get done was the fan shroud. I need to order one and get it installed
because it heats up. So I need help figuring out which one to order that will fit. The fan has 18" blades and the" and there is a 5.5" space between the radiator. Any ideas on which one I should get?
I dont mind spending $ to get a nice one, I just want one that'll fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

You might also need a thicker core in that radiator, you got a "hotrod" 283?
Any reproduction fan shroud for a 67 should work as long as it's for a small block
You "do" want the fan to sit just inside the round mouth of the shroud
Means you might need a fan spacer, and I would personally run a fan clutch
Those old 4 blade fans were barely adequate when your Camaro was new and running leaded gas
So, to cure the overheat I'd use a 7 blade fan and a clutch inside your new shroud
You will also need to buy the little piece at the top to mount the shroud

I still have the old 4 blade fan off mine which I think had a 327 in it

 

OP, that is not a camaro radiator so You would need to get some universal type shroud

or, buy the correct radiator and fan shroud for a camaro. Lose the fixed 4 blade and get a Hayden HD fan clutch and a 7 blade 18: fan for the fan clutch

Look into Cold Case radiators for Camaro. Get the 23" size which was for SBC w/AC or BB. Stock SB got the 21 but either fits. Use well nuts on DS to core support mount, PS just bolts to core support.

You will also need to buy the top hold down bracket for shroud

OER makes both the 21 and 23" camaro shrouds. Summit
