Default 1969 Z28 Exhaust Sound

i have a transverse muffler on my 1969 Z28 but I wish I had a better sounding muffler(s). The muffler I have now fits between the gas tank and rear axle. Can anyone recommend a good deep throaty sounding muffler(s)? I have the DZ302 motor.
Can anyone recommend bulbs for my console gauges that are brighter but not too strong to blow a fuse?
Thanks, Donnie

The gauge bulbs are probably 194s. Replace them with 168s.

I had a set of these on my 69 Camaro that sounded good: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/w...+5ba263233d6fc

It has been a while since I done anything with the gauges so to get to the bulbs do I just remove the top cover that’s over the gauges? I need to check for a lose wire connection while I’m doing this because the lights have been going off and on. I believe the problem is at the end of the console near the front of the car. Thanks for your help.

Would you say the mufflers were more quieter or louder? I believe the one muffler I have now might be a Flowmaster but I just wish it was a little louder where I can hear the exhaust better. I’ll call Summit and check it out. Thanks for your help.

I don't have the gauges in my console, but that sounds right. I have a wire connector for the rear light that connects up front with orange and white wires.

My transverse muffler wasn't a Flowmaster, but the Dynomaxs were louder. Walker makes hangers that bolt right in to the factory well nuts.
