Default Ground wire hookup location

1969 SS 4 speed console with gauges. Removed it for floor pan work. Works done and reassembling console. There was a ground wire attached by the shift boot and I'm not sure were to reattach it. I assume it hooks up some were to gauge cluster but can't seem to locate spot. Anyone have any idea? Just got back from week in Arizona. Back to finish assembling and this is were I left off a week ago. Any help would be appreciated as this is holding me up, Thanks, Greg

This is a pdf from the 1969 Assembly Manual. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but it shows a ground bolted to the floor board in the area you have referred to.

According to my 1969 chassis service manual, the ground wire for the console gauge cluster look like it attaches to a stud between the amp and temp gauges. Section 12, page 31.

This is where I was having trouble understanding what the OP was asking for. I wasn't sure if he was asking where the ground attached at the gauges or where the ground under the console was connected to the body. I also couldn't find anything that showed these two points as the opposite ends of the same wire. I did find another drawing giving dimensions for the bolt location on the floorboard. I've attached pdf's from the Assembly Manual showing the gauge attachment and the floorboard dimensions.

After trying numerous combinations of words for search engines I finally came up with answer and photo. You are correct on stud between amp & temp gauge. Already had original location by shifter hole on body. Thanks for helping guys. You were both correct on location. Just couldn't remember were I unhooked it on console after couple months. Thanks again!
