the owner before me was using walmart oi, no offense to walmart but it's ok for my camry I guess.

going to also rip out the stock radio and install a kenwood.

I've only changed out my oil once so far as I'm still relatively new to its ownership, but unless you're talking about Walmart BRAND, just buy where you find the best deals. I buy mine at Walmart because it's the same oil, produced by the same company, and it costs more at the other stores. It's the brand, not the vendor. So don't feel the need to spend extra at an auto shop if you're getting the same oil.
