Backup camera at night issue
I've been searching but can't find if my 2019 Camaro's backup camera is supposed to have an infrared or nightvision mode to brighten it up at night. My previous cars would always automatically show a bright image in b/w at night. Mine stays in color and visibility is pretty low at night.
I'm trying to determine if I have a faulty camera/IR leds or something. Can someone please confirm a night vision feature should be there?

Howdy.
I'm sure it's been solved in the last year and a half, but **** it. I have a 2020 1LT and the backup camera is not quite as good at night as a few other cars I've seen, but it is by no means useless. I can see a good 5-6 feet roughly, which isn't a lot, but should be plenty as long as you aren't reversing like an action movie. More than anything is the FPS of the display when I reverse at over 10mph (which is rare), is my concern/complaint. If yours is/was next to useless, then faulty for sure, but YouTube searches I'm sure can give you a visual for how correct looks
