i have this problem in my Camaro that happened a couple of weeks ago there is not hot air coming from the AC. i went to a mechanic nearby and he told me they charge over $2,000 for this fix. if anyone know how to fix it please let me know i dont want to spend over $2,000 on this fix

 

Well, the blend door itself is only about 20 bucks
The labor to replace it is the rest
There are videos on YouTube on how to gerry rig a hot knife repair for way less
Shop around and then decide

You better watch the video
I can do the job either way but I am a seasoned vet
The GM way starts with removing the windshield and the repair is closer to 3000 - 4000 dollars
The hot knife method may only cost you 500
It's not too hard if you are a master mechanic
Just about impossible for a layman to do GM's way
The hot knife method is similar to the Taurus Explorer ones from yesteryear
Pretty easy job for a technician
