So I was checking out the new edition of car and driver where they were doing the buyers guide edition for the new cars coming out and I noticed the Camaro is almost as heavy (~3800lbs) a car as the Challenger(~4000lbs). I know they're putting a huge power plant under the hood but why wouldn't they shoot for a lighter car? I noticed Ford was able to keep the new Mustang relatively light (~3400lbs) so why didn't/couldn't Chevy do the same?
