RS and another one, the different between them is... the rs has rear wing, bigger wheels, led headlight... thats what they told me...and i have to pay $3000 more to get the rs... so what u think guys? can i mod the car after make it look better and save money?! any advice will be appreciated

you can always mod the car. I wouldn't go RS either, $3000 can buy you a nice set of wheels and tires that are exactly what you want.

I would probably go with the base model as well but I would be sacrificing things that I wanted.

Plus the RS package is more than just the wing, wheels, and headlights... its fogs, headlights, wing, "ground effects", different hood, different grill, LED tails, big brakes, and better shocks, and a 2.92 rear axle... the RS is the Performance package for the V6 not just an appearance package.

if its only 3k different for you go for it... here its the difference between 22k and 27k.

Edit: you also cant get the "tech package" with a stick unless its an RS or SS...

All my info just came from my buddy mark who works in the parts dept. at the local dealer.

Can anyone else weigh in on this?

Still not worth 3k, and I don't think all those are part of the RS package. There are only two hoods available, the base and SS hood; stripe packages are dealer options. Brakes and shocks are cheap, easy and will perform better than the RS's "upgraded" shocks and brakes. Also, a 2.92 axle is nothing to brag about, especially with a 6 spd. With a 6 spd, you could easily run 3.42 or better yet, 3.73's to get a real performance increase.

HI
i think u should get them.... because the LED lights and the bigger wheels I believe is a very important part of a 5th gen camaro... telling u this because i have the RS package on my SS and its looks so cool. and I dont think market wheels really look cool on a camaro... so basiclly what am sayin is the RS pakage is a must because its what makes a camaro look so awesome and believe me, the differnce between the normal one and the RS is huge and more noticeable on the road.

hope u find what best for you and enjoy you car man

RS Package, includes 20" x 8" front and 20" x 9" rear flangeless, painted aluminum wheels with Midnight Silver finish, body-color roof ditch molding, high intensity discharge headlamps and RS unique tail lamps and rear spoiler. This is all the RS package includes for the 2011 model year. Anything added to the vehicle outside of these few things is not part of the RS package. Also on the LT and LS trims you get an RS badge that would be in the front grill and the rear trunk lid as well. I hope that helps to answer that question. As for whether or not you should get a vehicle with the RS that is up to you entirely. Personally I feel it makes the vehicle stand out a bit more than most other Camaros which I personally see a lot of where I live. I hope that helps you.
